Deflategate was the biggest scandal of Tom Brady's career and cast a black cloud over the quarterback's famous career. However, he has the support of another NFL legend.

During the New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce came to Brady's defense over Deflategate, and it was in the perfect way.

"I don't even think Tom should have gotten in trouble for deflated footballs. I'm pro deflated footballs," Jason said. "I'll say it. I'll say it. I'm pro deflated footballs."

However, after hearing this one, Travis Kelce questioned why Jason felt this way.

"He outsmarted people. Why the f*** does it matter how much air's in that motherf*****," Jason explained. "If you're throwing it an catching it, who the f*** cares. We're all made because he had the common sense to take a little air out so that his receivers could catch the f***ing thing. Why is that against the rules?

"Y'all could have taken the air out too. You guys could have taken the air out too. You just weren't smart enough. So why am I getting penalized because you're f***ing dummys."

So basically, it's Jason is not a fan of the rule.

"It's a rule, but it's a stupid rule though. It's a stupid rule, that's all I'm saying," he added. "If the rule isn't protecting player health or if only one team can do it, I get what you're saying. But if both teams have the opportunity to do something and the other team is just not as smart as the other team, I think that's a stupid rule.

"You're taking away intelligence."

All Travis could do was laugh.

And Jason didn't stop there, bringing up another scandal that instead fell on Bill Belichick's shoulders. Who can forget about Spygate, when the Patriots were accused of videotaping the opposing team's signals during a game.

"You're in trouble for stealing our signs. You were f***ing doing signals. You expected us not to look? Like get better signals, what the f*** are you talking about," Jason said.

For his part in the Deflategate scandal, Brady was ultimately suspended four games at the start of the 2015-16 season.

And even the quarterback had a hilarious reaction to it all during Netflix's The Greatest Roast of All Time.

“Remember Deflategate? The NFL spent $20 million and found that it was more ‘probable’ than not, that I was ‘generally’ aware that someone may have deflated my footballs,” Brady said on the Netflix special. “You could’ve just given me the 20 million and I would’ve just told you I (expletive) did it.”

Now that it's in the past, everyone can joke about it now.
