Mac Jones is clearly enjoying his time in the Sunshine State.

The former New England Patriots quarterback was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars after struggling the past two seasons. Plus, it seems both he and the Jaguars are excited about this fresh start.

And while he never truly seemed comfortable with the Patriots, especially throughout the past two seasons, he is a completely different person with his new team.

In a video posted by the NFL, Mac Jones finished up a ball protection drill and decided to have some fun. He showed off his dance moves in celebration, smiling and laughing.

Jones was born in Jacksonville and even attended the Bolles School before leaving the state to attend the University of Alabama for college.

Afterwards, he headed to the cold to begin his NFL career, but things didn't work out there. And now he's back home.

During his introductory press conference in March, Jones expressed his excitement over being back.

"I love this place. It's my hometown. Obviously there's a lot of good things going on around here and looking forward to learning everybody's names and just learning, playing good football," he said and was then asked if it's a dream to play for the Jaguars.

"Yeah, a little bit. Obviously coming to the games and growing up as a fan and seeing all the good times and some of the bad times, obviously it was important for me to just fulfill my dream of playing in the NFL and obviously had a great opportunity in New England. Again, can't thank them enough. But happy to be here. As a kid from Jacksonville, it's definitely a dream come true."

The decision for him to depart New England was "mutual" the quarterback said, so now he gets the opportunity to move forward. Plus with the opportunity to work with Trevor Lawrence, who was in the same draft class as him, he can focus on getting back to the basics and improving as a quarterback without the stress of the fans.

So his comfort with the area along with being back with family is proving to be really good for Jones.

"Yeah, I do know the area good and I don't think I'll be staying with my parents. Maybe, we'll see. But yeah, my mom's coming to pick me up in about 30 minutes so. It's kind of nice when your mom can pick you up from work," Jones said in March. "But it'll be good. I think, like I said, I'm just looking forward to meeting the guys and everyone. Like you said, they're all new here. Sounds like Gabe's not from far down the road so that's cool. So there is some Florida ties here and there. It's a great state and great city to be in."

And as for the Patriots, they got to draft Drake Maye, along with bringing back Jacoby Brissett. It's a fresh start for New England too.

So it worked out for everyone.
