The Texans do not need another quarterback with four on the current roster: C.J. Stroud, Davis Mills, Case Keenum, and Tim Boyle. That is obvious. They have a top-five guy in the league and some decent backups with starting experience.
But, for some reason, they are wasting a top-30 visit on another quarterback in this upcoming draft.
According to Aaron Wilson of KCPR2, the Texans are having a top-30 visit with South Carolina quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Rattler is a good quarterback and, according to our big board, is projected to be drafted early in the fourth round. The Texans would draft a quarterback with a pick that they could easily use elsewhere.
