Was it Bill Belichick or Tom Brady?
For years, this has been one of the most controversial debates across the NFL after the New England Patriots won six Super Bowl championships across the span of 20 seasons.
The brilliant head coach and the legendary quarterback dominated together, but when things started to go bad towards the end, everyone decided that it had to be one of them.
However, Tom Brady decided to finally address this narrative once and for all. And the quarterback could not have done it in a better way.
After Belichick along with numerous of his former teammates spoke during the quarterbacks' Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Wednesday night, it was Brady's turn to speak. And he mentioned how incredible his career was in New England.
But arguably one of the best parts was when he took a moment to address his former head coach.
"It wasn't me. It wasn't you. It was us," Brady said. "Let me make this crystal clear: There is no coach in the world I would rather play for than Bill Belichick."
Brady was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in front of a sold out crowd of fans inside Gillette Stadium. But when Belichick took the stage, he received so much love from Patriots Nation, and it was well deserved after all he had done.
The cheers echoed as the crowd watched the former head coach and the quarterback embrace in the stadium where they had so much success.
So once and for all, lets end this debate. It isn't just one of them: it's both of them.
