The New England Patriots have made another roster move.
On Thursday, the Patriots waived Terez Hall with an injury designation, the team announced.
Hall has been absent from training camp since the fifth day of training camp, when it appeared that he collided with Ty Montgomery and suffered a knee injury.
He joined the Patriots in April 2019 as a undrafted free agent, but was waived in August during final roster cuts. However, he was quickly re-signed to the practice squad for the season. It was deja vu during the 2020 season, but he was elevated to the active roster on Nov. 9, going up and down between the active roster and practice squad for the rest of the season.
To start the 2021 season he was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list and then was released in May 2022 after a failed physical. Yet, he joined the practice squad again in Dec. 2022 and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in Januar.
Hall has appeared in eight games, including four starts, and recorded 50 tackles and two passes defended during his time in New England.
The Patriots now have two roster spots open after releasing receiver Ed Lee on Wednesday.
