Here are Ryland's base salaries:

2023: $750k

The Patriots traded up to take Ryland in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft at No. 112 overall. He began his college career at Eastern Michigan before transferring to Maryland in 2022.

Ryland was the second kicker drafted this year after the San Francisco 49ers selected Jake Moody at No. 99 overall.

The Patriots have also agreed to terms with guard Atonio Mafi, a fifth-round pick, and wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, punter Bryce Baringer and wide receiver Demario Douglas, all sixth-round picks.

Seven of the Patriots' 12 draft picks have not reached contract terms yet.

Ryland is expected to replace Nick Folk, the Patriots' top kicker for the past three seasons.
