The New England Patriots have made some additions to the offense in the offseason, but there is one name being thrown around that could truly elevate the team to the next level.

On Friday, the Arizona Cardinals released Hopkins after three years, with the Cardinals clearing $7.38 million in cap space in 2023, carrying $22.6 million in dead cap, but will have Hopkins salary removed from the cap in 2024, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero report.

And now the speculation begins on where Hopkins is headed next, and the Patriots might not be such a distant possibility.

Hopkins posted a video to his Instagram story on Monday afternoon that would raise many eyebrows among New England fans.

Hopkins appeared to be in a gym, with highlights of Tom Brady throwing a touchdown pass to James White in the Patriots comeback victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

This appeared to be part of the NFL Network's Super Bowl Highlights program, but it was an interesting choice for Hopkins to video and post at that exact moment.

And, while there are others in the gym, the main focus of the video appears to be on the television, with Tom Brady lighting up the screen.

So, is this Hopkins way of telling the public that he wants to play for the Patriots?
