Stefon Diggs, once again, is making national headlines.

However, it's not for him missing the first day of mandatory camp. It's not him taking time to fly and support his teammate for a charity softball tournament, and it's not about any cryptic messaging that should have the Bills Mafia worried.

Rather, Diggs is back in the national spotlight for one of the most important reasons: His ability to play football.

Specifically, Diggs' Madden ratings have been released and it puts him firmly in the top five at the receiver position. In fact, his rating puts him above DeAndre Hopkins, a hot topic among the Bills Mafia over the past few months.

Diggs, respectively, is sitting at a 96 overall in the upcoming football simulator. Those ahead of him are Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, and Davante Adams. Those receivers are sitting at a 99, 98, and 97 overall respectively.

The elite pass-catcher has truly been a difference-maker since joining the Buffalo Bills and teaming up with Josh Allen. Diggs most likely would've been a 99 overall had Ken Dorsey been able to incorporate him more into the offense toward the end of the year.

Admittedly, this offseason and the way the season ended last year have left a bitter taste in the mouths of Bills Mafia. If nothing else, the Madden ratings are a stark reminder of just how good the offense is. With that comes sky-high expectations.

Diggs, Allen, and the Buffalo Bills are under the microscope as they are some of the best athletes and team in one of the biggest sports in the world. Not only will Diggs be lighting it up in the football simulator, but he's going to let the world know just how dominant he is when the season resumes.

Don't be surprised if Diggs finds his way to the 99 club before the season is over.
