Netflix's latest television show gives viewers an in-depth view of some of the quarterbacks in the NFL.
Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, Marcus Moriota provide a look into their lives on the field and off the field, and the show is already a hit.
So now one former Patriots quarterback wants to get Netflix's attention, making the case to be featured on the next season.
Matt Cassel played in the NFL for 14 years, having stints with seven teams throughout his career. With all that experience, he thinks he's the perfect fit for a possible featured role on the show.
The quarterback began his career with the Patriots, being drafted in the seventh round, 230th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft. He remained in New England for four years before being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009 alongside former outside linebacker and current Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel.
After three seasons with Chiefs, he signed with the Vikings. He had stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Titans, and Detriot Lions as well before officially retiring.
And if Netflix really wanted, they could focus on a few former Patriots quarterbacks, with Tom Brady certainly able to drum up tons of views.
Let's see if Cassel's pitch works.
