The Green Bay Packers have been one of the NFL’s least active teams at this point in free agency. Though the team hasn’t added many new faces, one national media outlet still consider the Packers’ roster competent.

In Pro Football Focus’ latest power rankings, Green Bay checks in at No. 18. Despite losing Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan and Tarvarius Moore in free agency, PFF still lists the Packers ahead of seven other NFC foes.

From PFF: The Packers have not made many moves during free agency, but they are close to losing their starting quarterback and receiving corps. As a result, they have the fourth-most cap space of any team in the league, which they could use to replace these players.

Here's how the NFC North stacks up, per PFF:

8. Vikings

13.Lions

18. Packers

26. Bears

Assuming the Rodgers trade goes through sometime in the near future, the Packers will be in position to make some noise in the second wave of free agency. Green Bay already has a total of 10 selections in the 2023 NFL Draft, not to mention a draft haul from the Jets on the horizon.

If the team is able to add capable weapons for Jordan Love, the Packers can absolutely contend for a playoff spot. Though the Packers’ offseason has been slow up to this point, expect the team to pick up plenty of steam immediately following a Rodgers trade.
