CBS Sports recently named one big free agent that each NFL team should pursue this offseason and they went with an under-the-radar option for the Green Bay Packers.

Jordan Dajani, an NFL writer for CBS Sports, thinks Green Bay should try to sign New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers this offseason.

From CBS Sports:

Don't let his failed lateral fool you, Meyers had a big year in a bad offense with 67 catches for 804 yards and a career-high six touchdowns. Personally, I think a change of scenery would be good for him, and he could play an immediate role with the Packers wide receiving corps. Opinions vary on Meyers, but I think he's underrated when you consider his route-running and ability to line up in different spots.

This might seem like an underwhelming suggestion to some fans, but I tend to agree with Dajani that Meyers is underrated.

Despite playing in a mediocre offense, Meyers still put up decent numbers in 2022. In a better scheme, he could be a star.

The Packers will need to address the wide receiver position this offseason regardless of what happens at quarterback. Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb will be free agents in March and it's very possible that neither player returns to Green Bay in 2023.

Meyers, who is only 26, could be a nice addition to the offense. And since he's young, he's a player that could stick around for a while and become a key role player in Green Bay.
