The Cincinnati Bengals will travel to Kansas City for the second consecutive year to take on the Chiefs.

After beating up the Bills in the divisional round, it is clear these two teams are the best the AFC has to offer.

Patrick Mahomes will be hosting his fifth straight AFC Championship game and is looking to make it to his third Super Bowl. Joe Burrow will be playing in his second consecutive AFC Championship game and is looking to make back-to-back Super Bowls.

In last year's matchup, the Chiefs were able to open strong and take a significant lead at halftime. Then, Burrow and the Bengals stormed back, winning 27-24 in OT.

Burrow has been an achilles heel for Mahomes since he entered the league. Burrow is 3-0 against Mahomes, as the Bengals have had the Chiefs number for the past two seasons.

The big question is how well Mahomes will hold up after injuring his ankle on Saturday. Mahomes was able to come back into the game after missing a couple of series but looked banged up in the second half. If the Chiefs are going to win this game, they most likely need Mahomes to play near or at full strength.

While this matchup would typically be a toss-up, I think the Mahomes injury is enough for me to lean the Bengals way.
