Future NFL Hall of Famer Rob Gronkowski threw some shade at Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers this week.
Gronk appeared on the "Up and Adams" show this week and he took issue with some comments that Rodgers made earlier in the week.
Rodgers told Pat McAfee on Tuesday that he thinks he's still capable of winning an NFL MVP award.
Gronkowski couldn't understand why Rodgers is talking about MVP awards and not Super Bowls.
"It should be Super Bowls, you should never be thinking MVP," said Gronk.
Gronkowski has a point — it should be all about Super Bowls for Rodgers.
However, if Rodgers is winning an NFL MVP award, it almost certainly means that Green Bay is in the mix for a Super Bowl.
And I think we saw this season how badly Rodgers still wants to win. It's the reason he signed a new contract and returned for another season.
This is just Gronk being Gronk. And I bet it doesn't phase Rodgers one bit.
