One of the most popular NFL bets among fans is the "anytime touchdown scorer." As we hit the midway point of the regular season, here are our top players to find the endzone in Week 9.
*Odds subject to change
Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb anytime TD (-140) vs. Falcons
Lamb is unquestionably the top target for quarterback Dak Prescott and is one of the top wide receivers in the league. Last week Lamb had a monster performance with 13 receptions for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
He'll have a good opportunity to carry that momentum over against the Falcons as this matchup could turn into a shootout. Atlanta has a middling pass defense that has surrendered the fifth-most passing touchdowns.
Packers RB Josh Jacobs anytime TD (-115) vs. Lions
The Packers could be without quarterback Jordan Love in this matchup, who suffered a groin strain last week. Even if he does play, he could likely won’t be at 100 percent and might not hold up for the entire game.
That means a big workload for Jacobs, who’s having an excellent season with 667 yards and three touchdowns. He’s averaging 5.4 yards per carry throughout his last two games and has three total touchdowns during that span. Jacobs is the premiere threat for Green Bay’s offense.
Browns WR Cedric Tillman anytime TD (+220) vs. Chargers
Following the trade of fellow wide receiver Amari Cooper, Tillman has stepped up as the Browns' top pass catcher. He has seen 22 targets over his past two games and has 15 receptions for 181 yards and two touchdowns during that span.
Cleveland's offense got a major boost last week with Jameis Winston taking over at quarterback, who has shown tremendous chemistry with Tillman.
Saints RB Alvin Kamara anytime TD (-210) vs. Panthers
The Saints have shown commitment to Kamara after giving him a two-year, $24.5 million contract extension. They have been decimated by injuries and need Kamara to be the centerpiece of their offense.
Kamara started the season strong with six touchdowns in his first six games, but his production tapered off with backup quarterback Spencer Rattler. With starter Derek Carr back New Orleans' offense will stabilize a bit, and Carr loves to dump the ball off to Kamara.
Rams RB Kyren Williams anytime TD (-195) vs. Seahawks
Williams has scored at least one touchdown in every game this season. He has been the workhorse of the Rams' offense, getting over 20 touches in every game but one.
With opposing defenses having to deal with the returns of receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, Williams will face lighter boxes. This week Williams faces a Seahawks defense that ranks 29th against the run, making this a very high percentage bet.
