The NFC South leading Atlanta Falcons travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in a Week 10 divisional showdown.

The Saints' 2024 season is officially in turmoil following seven straight losses and firing their head coach Dennis Allen. Interim coach and special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi will try to get something positive out of his team during the final eight games. Part of New Orleans' struggle has been being devastated by injuries.

Starting quarterback Derek Carr returned last week, which should provide some stability, but he is without his top two wide receivers in Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. The Saints traded star cornerback Marshon Lattimore earlier this week, which will be a big blow for an already struggling defense.

The Falcons have won back-to-back games and are beginning to run away with the NFC South. They have the eighth overall ranked offense in the NFL, averaging 30 points per game over the last five weeks.

Kirk Cousins and Bijan Robinson rank in the top 10 in passing and rushing respectively. Atlanta's defense has been middling in about every category, and has given up at least 20 points in every game but one this season.

Let's dive into the best odds and best bets for this matchup.

Falcons vs. Saints Moneyline

Falcons: -200
Saints: +165

Teams often step up and play well following the firing of their coach. Although I believe the Falcons will win, I think the Saints will give a valiant effort. They're embarrassed after losing to the Carolina Panthers last week and playing at home should give them a boost. Avoid the moneyline since I think Atlanta will take care of business, but bet New Orleans to cover the spread.

Falcons vs. Saints Spread

Falcons: -3.5 (-115)
Saints: +3.5 (-105)

If the Saints weren't dealing with so many injuries I may pick them to pull the upset. However, I just don't think they have enough talent to beat a good Falcons team, although they will play them close.

Falcons vs. Saints Over-Under 46.5 points

Over: -110
Under: -110

Despite Carr being back at quarterback, the Saints are going to have a tough time putting up points given all the injuries to skill position players. The Falcons will get theirs, but I don't think New Orleans will score enough to make up the difference and get to 47 points. Bet the under.
