The 8-2 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Los Angeles to take on the 5-5 Rams in Week 12.

The Rams got a much-needed bounce back win over the New England Patriots last week to pull back to .500. They have a lot to play for as they trail the Arizona Cardinals by just one game for the NFC West lead. Los Angeles has one of the best sets of skill position players in the NFL, and veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford is still playing solid football. 

The Eagles are rolling, winners of their last six games. Running back Saquon Barkley is playing at an MVP level, leading the NFL in total scrimmage yards with 1,347. Between him and quarterback Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia ranks first in rushing offense. It also leads the league in total defense. The Eagles are one of the most complete teams in the NFL and trail the Detroit Lions by just one game for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Rams vs. Eagles Moneyline

Rams: -150
Eagles: +125

The Rams are one of the hardest teams in the NFL to get a read on. One week they look like one of the elite teams in the NFC, and look inept the next week. Fortunately, we know exactly what to expect from the Eagles -which is a great rushing attack and shut down defense.

Barkley should have no problem doing his thing against a middling Rams' rush defense, and off of that should come opportunities for big passing plays against L.A.'s 22nd ranked pass defense.

As far as the Rams' offense goes, even if we get the good version, Philly's elite defense should contain it. I think the Eagles take over in the second half and win comfortably, so I'll avoid the moneyline and bet them to cover the spread.
