The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are both in São Paulo, Brazil for Friday’s Week 1 matchup. Each team is in good health overall, and have released their final game designations. Let’s take a look.

KEY: DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related

Observations:

  • Molden was a full participant in practice for the second consecutive day and is not carrying an injury designation into Friday’s game. Outside of the loss of All-Pro left tackle Rashawn Slater last month, the Chargers are entering the season at full health.

KEY: DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related

Observations:

  • Jalen Royals was officially ruled out yesterday and did not make the trip to Brazil with the team. There’s hope for his return in the Chiefs’ Week 2 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
  • Omarr Norman-Lott has been bothered by an ankle injury for the past few weeks. The fact that he participated in practice this week is a good sign for his availability, but he’ll likely be on a limited snap count.
  • After missing most of training camp and all of preseason, Hollywood Brown practiced in full all week and has no injury designation heading into Friday night’s game. He’ll give the Chiefs’ WR corps a big boost.
