After playing just one home game in October, the Tennessee Vols will return to Neyland Stadium this weekend for a huge matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Volunteers improved to 6-2 last weekend with a 56-34 win over the Kentucky Wildcats.

Tennessee needs to win its final four games to have a legitimate chance at earning a spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff.

Tennessee makes official announcement for the Oklahoma game

Tennessee officially announced on Monday morning that the program will be going “dark mode” for the game against Oklahoma on Saturday.

The Vols and the Sooners are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET. With the Vols set to wear all black uniforms, it should be an electric (and spooky) atmosphere in Neyland Stadium.

VolQuest’s Austin Price noted earlier this month during an appearance on WNML that Tennessee was expected to go “dark mode” for the Oklahoma game.

Tennessee last wore its “dark mode” uniforms in a win against Kentucky last season.
