The Minnesota Vikings and Washington Commanders both play on Sunday afternoon, not just fighting for a victory, but also when it comes to NFL Draft position.
Quarterback is going to be a big factor on Sunday afternoon, as both J.J. McCarthy and Jayden Daniels are coming off injuries, and it looks highly likely that both will end up playing in the game.
What else is going on with the injuries? Thursday’s injury report continues to paint the picture of what will happen on Sunday.

| S Harrison Smith | Not Injury Related-Rest | Limited/Full | |
| LT Christian Darrisaw | Knee | Full/DNP | |
| QB J.J. McCarthy | Concussion | Full/Full |
Observations
- McCarthy needed to practice in full to clear the concussion protocol, and he has officially cleared it.
- Brandel, Kelly, and Jackson all improved on Thursday, which is big for the offensive line. Darrisaw was his normal DNP, and he should be back to a full participant on Friday.
- Chandler practiced for the second consecutive day, and he could return on Sunday. If he does, there will need to be a roster move made to add him to the active roster.
- The one serious addition that we haven’t seen in recent weeks is Rodriguez. Two consecutive days of not practicing will likely result in some Elijah Williams snaps.
Washington Commanders Thursday injury report
| Player | Injury | W/T/F | Designation |
| TE Zach Ertz | Not Injury Related-Rest | DNP/Full | |
| DE Drake Jackson | Knee/Groin | DNP/DNP | |
| DT Javon Kinlaw | Back | DNP/Full | |

Observations
- The headliner here is Daniels. He dislocated his elbow a few weeks back on Sunday night in garbage time. Seeing him improve points toward him making a return to the field.
- Wagner didn’t participate in practice over the last two days, and it could be huge on Sunday.
