The interviews are flying in. New just broke that the Detroit Lions will interview Seattle Seahawks passing game coordinator Jake Peetz. We already knew they’ve set up an interview with Washington Commanders quarterbacks coach David Blough, and they’ve reached out to former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel. Now they’re looking at the Baltimore Ravens staff.

The Lions will interview Ravens quarterbacks coach Tee Martin for their offensive coordinator job

As Schultz noted, Martin helped Lamar Jackson win his MVP award in 2023. But before that, he was their receivers coach for two years, and before that, he was at USC with a young Amon-Ra St. Brown. They were only together there for one year, though. Martin has coached at Tennessee, Kentucky, New Mexico, and Morehouse. Primarily as a wide receivers coach and quarterbacks coach.

You may remember Martin as Peyton Manning’s backup at Tennessee and the guy who took over the starting job and led the Vols to a national championship in 1998. Martin was a fifth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers and also played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Las Vegas Raiders.
