Tennessee Vols sophomore offensive lineman David Sanders Jr looked like a man among boys in a clip that went viral on Thursday.

247Sports’ Patrick Brown tweeted a clip of Sanders absolutely dominating a rep at practice on Thursday.

Whichever player was on the other end of that rep probably doesn’t love that this clip is going viral.

Sanders, though, is a former five-star recruit who was rated as the No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2025 recruiting class — there’s no shame in getting handled during a spring rep against a future first-round NFL Draft pick. After all, that won’t be the last rep where Sanders makes a defensive player look silly.

The Charlotte native was terrific for the Vols as a true freshman in 2025, not allowing a sack in eight of the nine games he played (Sanders missed the first four games of the season due to an injury he suffered late in fall practice).

Sanders was named to the SEC All-Freshman team last season. It won’t be a surprise if he’s named to the All-SEC first team in 2026.
