Bills QB Josh Allen drops strong statement on Buffalo’s locker room under new head coach Joe Brady
The Buffalo Bills are entering year one of the Joe Brady era (as the head coach).
The Buffalo Bills enter the 2026 NFL season as one of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl.
Of course, that’s been the case for nearly every year of the Josh Allen era. But with a new head coach in Joe Brady, and with Allen turning 30, it feels like the pressure will be ramped up a bit this season for the Bills to finally break through and get to the big game.
Allen, for what it’s worth, is feeling optimistic heading into the season. And a big reason he feels that way is because of how close the locker room is.
“I think we’re going to be a tighter team in terms of relationships,” said Allen on One Bills Live. “Not that we didn’t last year or the year before, but there’s a lot of love in this locker room. There’s a lot of love on the offensive side of the ball for each other. Everybody wants each other to succeed.
“That’s a good spot — when you’ve got everybody working for the guy next to them. That’s a good recipe. We’ve got talented players — we understand that. … We just want to win, and we want to win for each other.”
You certainly can’t win a championship in the NFL without a locker room that’s together and focused on the same goal.
Nothing is guaranteed for the Bills just because Allen says they have a tight locker room, but it’s still a solid foundation for a championship run. In fact, it’s a must.
