The Green Bay Packers‘ 2022 season was already going worse than anyone could have imagined.

And it managed to get worse on Monday morning.

According to multiple reports, Packers pass rusher Rashan Gary tore his ACL in Green Bay’s 15-9 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Gary will have an MRI to confirm the tear, but the expectation is that he’ll miss the rest of the season.

This is obviously brutal news for the Packers. Gary is one of their best players and the pass rush certainly won’t be the same without him on the field.

Green Bay was already trending hard in the wrong direction with little reason for optimism that the season will turn around.

With Gary set to miss the rest of the season, it just brings even more of a dark cloud over the Packers’ 2022 season.

It might be time to start gearing up for the 2023 NFL Draft and figuring out an offseason plan because this season is going nowhere fast.
