FOXBORO, Mass. — Taking the field in pads for the second-straight day and the third time during training camp, it was clear that the physicality was at a different level on Thursday.

Rhamondre Stevenson was back involved in team drills, with the defense being a little more aggressive and tackling on run plays.

However, one moment that stood out was when cornerback Jack Jones got heated after breaking up a pass along the sideline intended for Kendrick Bourne. Soon after he left the field, with Jabrill Peppers walking alongside him to the stairs in what can be assumed as an attempt to calm him down.

He later returned to the sidelines, and had chats with Jalen Mills and Matt Groh.

While the physicality is a part of football, it appeared Jack Jones got very upset and needed a moment to calm down.

Here’s what else I saw from Thursday's training camp session:

-PLAY OF THE DAY: Tre Nixon hauled in a 45 yard catch from Mac Jones over Jabrill Peppers.

– Demario Douglas continues his strong training camp campaign, beginning with a dominating performance in the 1-on-1s. He beat cornerback Marcus Jones twice on Thursday after winning their lone matchup on Wednesday.

– Kayshon Boutte followed up his impressive performance on Wednesday hauling in passes from Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe.

Kendrick Bourne and Malik Cunningham also went 2-0, with Cunningham beating rookie Christian Gonzalez during one of his reps.

– The offense switched things up on Thursday, with Mac Jones spending time with the backup receivers and starting offensive line, while Zappe had the opposite.

-Jonathan Jones has two pass breakups. Josh Uche recorded two sacks.

– JuJu Smith-Schuster showed off his dance moves in the end zone after a touchdown.

– Quarterback Stats:

Mac Jones: 18-for-24, INT

Bailey Zappe: 13-for-18, INT

Trace McSorley: 5-for-8

– Kyle Duggar intercepted Mac Jones and Adrian Phillips intercepted Zappe.
