Bengals Week 2 inactives at Texans
- QB Josh Jonson
- WR Ke’Shawn Williams
- OL. Myles Hinton
- OL Connor Lew
- DT B.J. Hill
- DT Landon Robinson
- CB Josh Newton
Burrow is officially active. He was listed as questionable with a back injury, which limited him both Wednesday and Thursday. He described it as “back tightness” and first felt it Monday morning following Cincinnati’s Week 1 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did have a full practice on Friday, but the Bengals still elevated Johnson from the practice squad on Saturday to be the possible emergency third QB, but he will not need to be active with Burrow all good to start.
Hill is the only player from Friday’s injury report who will not play. He popped up with an achilles injury Thursday and missed Friday’s practice. Cincy will roll with just four defensive tackles as Robinson is not taking his place.
Stewart is making his season debut, as expected. He suffered a hyperextended knee at the beginning of training camp.
Tight end Jack Endries, who was inactive last week, is active and will make his NFL regular season debut.
Williams, Hinton, Lew, and Newton were all inactive last week as healthy scratches.
