CeeDee Lamb has simple but perfect response to John Harbaugh’s daring words about the Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and New York Giants head coach are doing a heck of a job promoting the divisional clash set to take place on the season’s inaugural Sunday Night Football.
In combat sports, matches are promoted months and months in advance through a straightforward tactic: Get fighters to trash talk each other.
That’s basically what’s going on between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants right now. New Giants head coach John Harbaugh and Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb are heating things up with a Week 1 showdown scheduled for Sunday Night Football.
And I gotta tell you, I’m loving it.
CeeDee Lamb responds to John Harbaugh’s comments on Cowboys-Giants
In case you missed it, Harbaugh went viral for his response to a Giants fan asking if the team would finally thrive against NFC East opponents.
“I could care less about what happened last year or the year before that or 10 years before that,” Harbaugh said. “Honestly, I don’t give a crap about any of it. Not one bit. All I care about is tomorrow’s practice. Because if tomorrow’s practice is the way it’s supposed to be, that’ll be one more step in the direction of being a good enough football team to kick the Cowboys’ ass.”
A strong statement, for sure. And one that breathes new life into a rivalry that desperately needs it considering the Giants are 3-18 since the start of the 2016 season.
But to CeeDee Lamb? It’s not that intimidating. The star wide receiver shared the Harbaugh clip on social media with a simple but perfect response.
“lol that’s cute,” Lamb wrote on his Instagram stories.

Sportsmanship be damned, this is the kind of energy divisional matchups should have. Specially from those who can back it up. Lamb, who averages over 80 receiving yards every time he goes up against the Giants, can back it up.
We’ll see if Harbaugh can as well. And we won’t have to wait very long, as both squads face each other in their season openers.
