The Denver Broncos' new head coach Sean Payton is being attacked on social media by Billy Turner, who played on the team in 2022.
It seems like there is never a shortage of drama surrounding the Broncos. Last season, it was everywhere; rumors spread like a disease, whether it be about Nathaniel Hackett or Russell Wilson. Attitudes were shown, and people said things that they normally wouldn't in a winning season.
But that happens in football.
That is why Sean Payton is in Denver, to get rid of the drama. At least, that's what we thought.
Payton recently did an interview where he went on record saying 2022 was "one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL," and there were at least "20 dirty hands" on Russell Wilson.
He summed it up this way:
"It doesn't happen often where an NFL team or organization gets embarrassed," Payton told USA Today. "And that happened here. Part of it was their own fault, relative to spending so much [expletive] time trying to win the offseason — the PR, the pomp and circumstance, marching people around and all this stuff."
However, here is where it starts getting interesting.
Billy Turner, who was a Broncos player last season on the offensive line, replied to the quote on Instagram, in which he had this to say:
"Seems like someone started training camp and is trying to soften the blow after realizing what he's in for this season," Turner said. "(Expletive) bum."
Man, this is getting pretty crazy.
