The Detroit Lions 2024 opponents were set last night after the Bills win over the Dolphins. Aside from that Bills win likely keeping the Lions out of Brazil next season, the Lions got some more pretty good news in terms of their away schedule. Let's take a look at the full slate of 2024 opponents:
Home
- Packers
- Bears
- Vikings
- Seahawks
- Jaguars
- Rams
- Bills
- Bucs
- Titans
Away
- Packers
- Bears
- Vikings
- Cardinals
- 49ers
- Texans
- Cowboys
- Colts
Ok, what do you notice about that road schedule? It's almost all indoors again. A trip to Chicago and a trip to Green Bay are the only winter element games that the Lions could potentially play in 2024. Otherwise the other outdoor game is in northern California where the worst you get is rain. Cardinals, Vikings, Texans, Cowboys and Colts all play in indoor stadiums.

They might luck out even more and get the Bears and Packers games in September and avoid the winter altogether. The flip side of course is that they shove both of those games in december and January and we get a snow bowl or two. We'll find out in June I suppose.
