The Green Bay Packers got the news they’ve been anxiously waiting for on Tuesday morning — Aaron Rodgers is officially returning.

Pat McAfee, who has Rodgers on his show weekly on Tuesdays, tweeted the news on Tuesday.

According to McAfee, Rodgers seriously considered retirement. But in the end, his desire to run it back with the Packers won out.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport also reported that Rodgers also seriously considered the Denver Broncos.

McAfee followed up Rapoport's tweet by saying news of a $200 million deal is not accurate.
