The Green Bay Packers lost their preseason opener to the Pittsburgh Steelers last Thursday. This week, their second exhibition game will be on Friday, but once again on the road. The Packers face the Denver Broncos in Denver, and the game starts at 8 p.m. (CT). So, here’s how you can watch or follow the game.

How to watch Packers at Broncos

The game will be nationally televised by NFL Network (and NFL+).

Local markets can also watch the game on the Packers TV Network. TODAY’S TMJ4 (WTMJ-TV) in Milwaukee and NBC 26 (WGBA-TV) in Green Bay broadcast it, as part of a list of local TV stations. The team’s official broadcast has Kevin Harlan as a play-by-play announcer and John Kuhn as the color analyst.

Game info

The Packers utilized most starters in Week 1 of the preseason, and the expectation is that head coach Matt LaFleur will maintain that logic against the Broncos. Potentially, this will be the last time we saw the main starters on the field before the regular season. Next week against the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay is expected to treat a joint practice as the main activity for starters, leaving the game itself for depth players to have more reps.

However, it’s unclear how much time the top players will have on the field. It’s realistic to expect that the first-team offense will have more than one series. Last week, Green Bay lost 28-9 to the Steelers, and Jordan Love played only the first drive.

Preseason schedule

This is the second of two consecutive road preseason games for the Packers. The Packers will play the Denver Broncos in Colorado on Aug. 21 after playing the Steelers in Pittsburgh. In Week 3, the final preseason action, the Packers host the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field on Aug. 28. There will also be a joint practice with the Cardinals leading up to the game in Green Bay.
