The Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) will face the Las Vegas Raiders (3-0) in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday, Oct. 4.

This game will mark the 135th time that the Chiefs and Raiders have faced off, dating back to their first game in September of 1960. The Chiefs lead the all-time series 76-56-2. The last matchup between the two teams came Jan. 4, 2026, after Patrick Mahomes was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. The Raiders narrowly won that game 14-12.

More is on the line in this matchup, with both teams undefeated through the first three weeks of the 2026 NFL season. The winner will take sole possession of the AFC West lead. That’d set Kansas City up nicely heading into the bye week. However, the Raiders view this game as a defining moment in the Klint Kubiak era.

Will you be able to watch the latest clash between these two clubs on TV? If you live in the red areas on the map below, you’ll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders Week 4 Broadcast Map:

The Chiefs-Raiders mostly compete with the Broncos-49ers game for market share in the CBS late window. Virtually every market west of Denver will get the Chiefs-Raiders matchup, though Minnesota, Green Bay, Chicago, and Detroit will get the Broncos-49ers game, likely because it involves an NFC team.

J.J. Watt and Jim Nantz will be on the call for Week 4

For the first time this season, the Chiefs will have Jim Nantz on the play-by-play with former NFL DE J.J. Watt on color commentary. Watt is filling in for former Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who had a tumultuous offseason and CBS placed him on leave. The incomparable Tracy Wolfson will be the sideline reporter for this game.

Chiefs vs. Raiders assigned referee Brad Rogers

Rogers has been an NFL referee since the 2019 NFL season. He’s since officiated six Kansas City Chiefs games and seven Las Vegas Raiders games (one while they were still in Oakland. The Chiefs have a 5-1 record with Rogers officiating. The Raiders have a 3-4 record with Rogers as the referee.

The last game Kansas City played with Rogers officiating was its 31-28 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5 of 2025. Las Vegas hasn’t had Rogers as the referee since their 41-24 loss to the Bengals in Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.

Over 3 games, Rogers’ crew is tied for the fourth-fewest penalties in the NFL (36) and has the highest rate of dismissed penalties (14). Home teams have two fewer penalties (17) compared to away teams (19).
