It's early in the week, but with the Vikings playing on Thursday Night Football, everyday matters.
The Vikings did not practice on Monday, but the team released an estimated injury report anyway. Basically, if practice did happen today, this is what the report would have looked like. Right away, you'll see a scary inclusion in the report.
Garrett Bradbury was listed as "Did Not Participate." This is not ideal, as the offensive line looked bad enough when all starters were healthy. Bradbury missed the remainder of the game on Sunday after suffering a back injury in the first half.
This is especially concerning considering the center dealt with an ailing back in 2022.
If Bradbury can't go on Thursday, Austin Schlottmann would likely get the start. Schlottmann filled in yesterday and wasn't terrible, finishing with a 66.9 PFF grade.
Another area of concern is Christian Darrisaw's inclusion. Darrisaw would have been a limited participant due to an ankle injury. Darrisaw didn't have his best game on Sunday, and that begs the question as to whether he was playing hurt.
The injuries and inefficient play make us wonder if the team is still interested in free agent Dalton Risner. Risner visited with the team over the summer, but a deal could not be reached at the time. That might be different now.
Even with Bradbury and Darrisaw, the Eagles will present an extremely tough test on Thursday night. The Eagles have a massive defensive front, anchored by Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, and Jordan Davis. No team in the league collected more sacks than the Eagles did in 2022.
Is Vikings defender in danger of losing his starting spot?
While penciled in as a starter, that was not the case on Sunday.
