While the New England Patriots' season may be over, there is still a lot of news across the rest of the league. And with Bill Belichick's future up in the air, the Patriots are very involved in all of this.

No official decision has been made in New England, but because of all the rumors, other teams have shown interest. And one coach might be willing to return.

So let's start at the beginning.

Very early this morning, the Atlanta Falcons fired head coach Arthur Smith, in an expected move. And the Athletic's Dianna Russini provided some context into who they are looking at to replace Smith.

"Bill Belichick is still the head coach in New England but the Atlanta Falcons are a team to watch if Belichick is available. They are interested, per sources," she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Belichick confirmed to reporters on Monday morning that he is still under contract, and it seemed that he wants to return. But Patriots owner Robert Kraft will have the final say.

And this latest report could change some things.

According to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, Tennessee Titans Mike Vrabel is interested in potentially returning to the Patriots if they part ways with Belichick.

Vrabel was back in the facility earlier this season after he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame. And fans were very excited to have him back.

So from there, the rumors ramped up. Especially with the Titans struggles this season.

At this point, anything is possible. So until a final decisions is made in New England, all of this remains rumors right now.
