The Philadelphia Eagles are preparing their final plans for the 2026 NFL Draft. Wide receiver is a position that plenty of mock drafts are projecting them to take in the first round, with a possible A.J. Brown move looming.
One of the potential wideouts on the board for Philadelphia at 23rd overall just made everyone aware how confident he is as he enters the NFL next week.
KC Concepcion sends strong message to the NFL ahead of 2026 draft
In a heartfelt piece penned by Concepcion for The Players Tribune, he did not hold back. Concepcion wants teams to know exactly who they are getting if they spend their first-round pick on him.
The Aggies wideout detailed his journey growing up with a stutter, life inside and outside of football, and why he is confident in his abilities entering the NFL.
“Before I get out of here, I do want to say, once again, for all to hear, that I’m the best receiver in this draft. But, at the end of the day, I’m so much more than just a football player. And any team that picks me is going to realize that immediately. So if you’re a GM out there reading this, put me on your team, and let’s get to work.

Adding Concepcion to the Eagles offense would give them another playmaker with game-breaking ability. Jalen Hurts’ passing offense lacked downfield potential in 2025. New OC Sean Mannion will look to change that this season.
“Concepcion is one of the best receivers in this class, and arguably the one with the most twitch. He’s an incredibly twitchy player with excellent YAC ability. He can attack every blade of grass on the football field, and he pairs route-running acumen with explosive movements and the speed to stack defenders down the field. In a league where explosive plays can be the difference, that’s why the league may be even higher on Concepcion than people think right now.
For the Eagles, wide receiver is a massive need during this year’s draft, if they plan on moving A.J. Brown post-June 1. If they don’t, I think it is more of a depth concern that they should not attack in the first round following the Dontayvion Wicks trade.
Regardless, Concepcion is an intriguing player who clearly has a chip on his shoulder entering the pros, and he’s ready to prove everyone. except the team who drafts him, wrong.
