This series between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks could very well be the de facto eastern conference championship series. Both of these two teams are capable of wining the NBA Finals. Each team is incredibly star heavy and that will be a big part of this series. For the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been unstoppable this postseason. The Nets have their ‘Big 3’ of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden.
The Pick: Nets -4 (-110)
The Why: The Big 3
In the games these teams have played this year, the Bucks covered in every game but the Nets did not have the Big 3 playing together. That should change the outcome of this series. It is an extremely tough ask for anyone to stop or slow down the offensive juggernaut the Nets are. Kyrie Irving is the facilitator of that offense, but he is always a threat to take over a game. I think this will be a tough matchup for the Bucks. Donte DiVincenzo is out for the series and that leaves a big question in who is going to guard Irving and Harden. I would think Jrue Holiday will likely guard Irving and Khris Middleton will guard Harden. Those are not favorable matchups for the Bucks and that will show in this game quickly.
Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving combined for 85.2 points per game in the First Round.
That is the most by a trio in any playoff series in NBA history.

Although I think this series be all about the star players, there is always this one guy for the Nets that reaps the rewards and that is Joe Harris. He is averaging 13.4 PPG and it seems like every shot he takes is wide-open. I expect him to continue to get open shots and make the Bucks pay tonight and throughout the series.
All in all, we’re going to lay the points and take the Nets. I think their offense is clicking right now and there’s way anyone is stopping them. This is a series where I think James Harden will explode offensively just because the Bucks don’t have a great defender to put on him. This should be a high scoring thriller but in the end the Nets’ ‘Big 3’ should come out on top.
Trends We’re Betting On
Nets have covered 9 of the last 10 ATS
Nets are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games at home
Bucks are 16-22 ATS on the road
Bucks are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 as an underdog
Yesterday’s Pick: Clippers -2.5 💰
Got back to the winning side last night. Kawhi Leonard was unbelievable down the stretch. He hit big shot after big shot to help us cover the spread. I thought the road team would win once again and they did. Game seven should be a good one.
