The Georgia Bulldogs have locked in another elite weapon from the class of 2026.

According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro has committed to Georgia over Texas and Florida.

"BREAKING: Five-Star TE Kaiden Prothro has Committed to Georgia, he tells me for @rivals. The 6’6 215 TE from Bowdon, GA chose the Bulldogs over Texas and Florida. He’s ranked as the No. 2 TE in the ‘26 Class (per Rivals)," Fawcett wrote on X/Twitter.

Prothro, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound standout from Bowdon High School, is a versatile athlete with experience at tight end, wide receiver, defensive back, and as a return specialist. Heading into his junior year, he racked up 1,020 all-purpose yards and scored 11 total touchdowns last season, while also making an impact on defense with three interceptions.

"I’m home for good," Prothro said shortly after announcing his commitment.

On3’s Industry Rankings have Prothro as the No. 29 player in the country, the No. 2 tight end, and the fourth-best prospect in the Peach State. He is also the second-highest ranked commit in Georgia’s class, right behind quarterback Jared Curtis. Not to mention, he's now one of three star-studded tight ends, joining four-stars Lincoln Keys and Brayden Fogle.
