The Georgia Bulldogs recently landed local 2026 four-star wide receiver Ryan Mosely, and they could be on tap to land another valuable weapon.
On3's Hayes Fawcett reports that fellow 2026 four-star wideout Brandon Bennett has narrowed his decision down to three schools — the Bulldogs being one of them.
The other two schools Bennett is considering are the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles.
Bennett, 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, is a rising senior at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, who has established himself as one of the premier pass-catchers in the country.
During his junior year last fall, Bennett recorded 24 receptions for 509 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging an impressive 21.2 yards per catch. His performance ranked him 41st in Florida's Division 4A for receiving yards and among the top 5 in 4A District 15.
Bennett is also regarded as one of Florida’s fastest prospects, boasting a personal-best 100-meter time of 10.40 seconds. He showcased his elite speed on the biggest stage, returning a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in a state championship victory over Orlando (Fla.) Jones.
According to Rivals, Bennett ranks No. 215 nationally, No. 28 in the state of Florida, and No. 28 among all wide receivers.
Based on Bennett's decision, it appears he wants to stay close to home, but Athens isn't too far of a drive to the Sunshine state if Smart and the gang can land him.
