The Georgia Bulldogs have experienced a few notable recruiting misses during this cycle, but the race is far from over, and there’s still a wealth of talent up for grabs.

Head coach Kirby Smart is not one to sit back quietly after a setback. Instead, he and his staff are expected to stay aggressive as they push to elevate the program’s already impressive recruiting momentum.

According to Georgia insider Brooks Austin, the Bulldogs are on the verge of a major surge. He notes that things are about to "skyrocket" in the recruiting department.
The Bulldogs already hold commitments from 19 players in the 2026 class, a group that currently ranks sixth nationally.

"According to sources, however, that number is about to skyrocket. On3’s Hayes Fawcett, known for posting commitment graphics of recruits, teased a UGA GIF — hinting towards a potential commitment," Brooks wrote.

"Bulldogs on SI then texted sources inside the building, and were notified that they are expecting to go on a tear in Athens over the coming weeks. One source said as many as (10) potential commits in the coming ten days, spanning both the 2026 and potentially 2027 classes."

As for which players might be next, Brooks mentioned offensive tackle Malaki Lee, defensive end Corey Howard, and EDGE Khamari Brooks as some names to watch.

Not long after Brooks' report, Khamari announced his commitment to Georgia.
