One of Oregon's top recruiting commits in the 2026 class apparently hasn't shut down his recruiting. Kodi Greene, the elite offensive lineman from Mater Dei that has been committed to Oregon since last summer, is apparently taking official visits this summer to Texas and USC.
Oregon is going to have to fight hard to keep one of their top recruits.
Reports have indicated that USC is working hard to flip Greene away from their former-Pac 12 rivals out on the west coast. USC is surprisingly turning in a great recruiting class, currently battling with Oregon for the top class in the 2026 cycle.
Greene is the second-highest ranked prospect currently in Oregon's haul behind elite tight end Kendre Harrison.
Offensive line continues to be one of the biggest priorities for the Ducks to get right in their upcoming recruiting classes. After needing to rely on the transfer portal in recent years, building up a pipeline of young talent would clearly be a win, and would provide for sustainable stability in the trenches going forward.
Aside from Greene, the Ducks are one of the finalists for the No. 1 offensive lineman in the country, Jackson Cantwell. They're also pursuing the No. 2 lineman, Immanuel Iheanacho. Lanning is looking to build a formidable and dominant line up front for the next generation of the Oregon Ducks, and getting these recruits across the finish line would be a massive win in doing so.
