Rams move on from Matthew Stafford and land Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart to replace him in a new 2025 NFL Mock Draft

One of the most talked about rumors in the NFL world this offseason is the idea that Matthew Stafford and the Rams could be parting ways this offseason. If the team does elect to trade him away, their options to replace him in the 2025 NFL Draft are pretty slim. They own the 26th pick in the first round, and the top two QBs, Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, will be well gone by that point.
Their best options left in that case are between Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart, Alabama's Jalen Milroe, and Ohio State's Will Howard. In that case, I think Dart would be the best fit for head coach Sean McVay to build the Rams new look offense around. Dart is coming off the best year of his college career, setting new career highs across the board with 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns, and the highest completion % of his career with 69.3%. With multiple intriguing young pieces such as Puka Nacua and Kyren Willams, as well as a well-respected offensive mind like McVay in charge, Dart or any rookie QB would be entering a fantastic situation to begin their career.
