The Ohio State Buckeyes always have to watch for flip efforts in the recruiting world. Between NIL advancements, on-field results, coaching changes, and playing time considerations, prospects have a million reasons to commit elsewhere and keep options open. It's just part of the game.
2027 No. 1 wide receiver Jamier Brown doesn't appear to be a flip candidate. Look at what "Showtime" shared on his X account this week:
The Huber Heights (Ohio) product is a tremendous 5-star prospect. He committed to the Buckeyes this past fall, showing love to the program in his announcement.
"First off, they have shown me a lot of love," Brown told Bucknuts. "They are always talking to me and my family. If we lose, they always tell me what I can do better. Coach (Brian) Hartline is a good factor (too). He develops the best wide receivers. When I committed, he told me how happy he was."
Brown chose the Buckeyes over Notre Dame, Michigan, Tennessee, and Miami.
