The Green Bay Packers are somewhat healthy this season, without many long-term problems. But the short-term outlook to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon is concerning.

Linebacker Quay Walker (ankle), wide receiver Christian Watson (knee), cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), safety Evan Williams (quadricep), and offensive tackle Andre Dillard (concussion) did not practice on Friday.

The window is still open for Watson, according to head coach Matt LaFleur, and he is listed as questionable to play. On Thursday, LaFleur had said that the wide receiver could play without practicing. All the other four players on the list above have been ruled out for Sunday.

Jaire Alexander's situation is particularly intriguing. He was a full participant on Wednesday, downgraded to limited on Thursday, and downgraded again to a not participant on Friday. Head coach Matt LaFleur had already indicated the cornerback would not play.

When asked about if the staff and Alexander were on the same page about his return, LaFleur only said that the injury report would be out at 3pm (CT). When the report was released, it confirmed that the former All-Pro player won't play against the Vikings once again.

Better news

After missing two games with an ankle injury, safety Javon Bullard practiced all week, including on Friday, a good indication for his availability on Sunday. He is listed as questionable, but LaFleur said he looked "good" throughout the week. Linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper (ankle) is also questionable.

Cornerback Corey Ballentine (knee), tight end Tucker Kraft (hip), tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle), and guard Elgton Jenkins (knee) are off the injury report and will be good to go.
