The Georgia Bulldogs could be losing one of their up-and-coming star wide receivers to the transfer portal.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 reports that true freshman Nitro Tuggle plans to enter the transfer portal.

Tuggle, a former four-star recruit, appeared in seven games this season with the Bulldogs, catching three passes for 34 yards. He will have three years of eligibility left wherever he lands.

It's disappointing news for the Bulldogs moving forward considering Tuggle showed a lot of promise in his first year with his best appearance coming in Georgia's Week 12 win over the Tennesse Volunteers.

So far, Georgia has had three players enter the transfer portal, with sophomore defensive back Julian Humphrey and senior wide receiver Michael Jackson III joining Tuggle on the search for a new team.

The NCAA transfer portal window does not open until Monday, Dec. 9, and will close on Saturday, Dec. 28. Those players can still choose to change their mind and stay at Georgia before that window closes.

In the meantime, these three players are expected to sit out of the Bulldogs' playoff run, which kicks off on Jan. 1 at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans where they will take on either Notre Dame or Indiana.
