Colts select Georgia star safety Malaki Starks in new mock draft

"It's time the Colts took their secondary seriously after neglecting the group too often.
Malaki Starks is one of the best pure talents in this class who can do it all on the field. He's, quite frankly, one of the easiest evaluations in this class. Add on to that his young age (just 21 years old), and he's a no-brainer top player in this class."
– New A to Z Sports mock draft
The Colts landed Georgia's star safety, Malaki Starks. Starks is viewed by many as the top safety in the class and one of the best defensive players overall. He has spent all three of his collegiate seasons at Georgia and has recorded 193 total tackles, six tackles for loss, and six interceptions.
Starks' talent and production speaks for itself, but his ability to line up all over the field is going to be a huge asset for whichever team drafts him. This year, he's logged over 150 snaps in the box, in the slot, and as a deep safety. He's spent most of his time back deep as a free safety, but I truly believe he can play either safety spot at the next level. And I also expect defensive coordinators to use him in a hybrid role to optimize his skill set.
