The Oregon Ducks landed Dakorien Moore, the No. 1 wide receiver in the country, with a July 4th commitment. Since then, he's never looked back. There was never a whisper of him changing his mind, of reopening his recruiting, of the threat of him being flipped.

Shortly after signing with the Ducks on National Signing Day, Moore got to work trying to bring more players to Eugene.

Oregon lost out on tight end Linkon Cure, who chose his home state Kansas State, so Moore got busy trying to recruit the yet-to-sign elite tight end Andrew Olesh.

It's honestly so wonderful to see. Not only is Moore handling his own recruiting, he's trying to bring as much talent to Eugene as possible to keep the good vibes rolling.

Oregon is firmly focused on this weekend's Big Ten Championship and a College Football Playoffs run, but after this season, they're expected to see big turnover. The Ducks will head into 2025 after possibly sending both tackles, their quarterback, their top tight end, and three wide receivers to the NFL. The team will look completely different, with Moore a new cornerstone and elite playmaker that will define the next iteration of the Oregon offense.

More than ever, it's important to build depth, both through recruiting and through the transfer portal. Next year can wait until next year, but this year's recruiting class is primed to inject a ton of talented players that will have an opportunity to compete and to grow under head coach Dan Lanning and his staff.
