While things aren’t going great for the Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State will be heavily favored to beat them next week, things are trending in the right direction again for the maize and blue.

Michigan’s quarterback situation this season has been downright abysmal, but help is now on the way. The Wolverines have flipped the No. 1 recruit in the country Bryce Underwood from LSU. Underwood is an in-state kid who has been committed to the Tigers for quite some time, but now he is set to be a Wolverine.

In today’s age of NIL and college football recruiting, the Wolverines had to step their game up and they did just that. It is reported that Underwood is set to have an NIL deal north of $10 million over four seasons at Michigan.

Michigan may lose six or more games this season with the poor quarterback play and other losses they took from last year’s National Championship team. But expect Underwood to come in next year and be in contention to start Day 1 for the Wolverines. Landing Underwood is landing an elite quarterback prospect who is going to likely bring other recruits with him.

Ohio State has their own five-star quarterback in this class with Tavien St. Clair committed. These two players are going to have a battle or two at some point down the road surely.

Ohio State fans have probably enjoyed watching Davis Warren and Alex Orhi at quarterback this season. My advice to you is not to get used to it, as major help is on the way for the Wolverines and he’s going to be a tough task for the Big Ten.
