Not all gifts are tangible, and the ones from unexpected sources are the best treats. The Ohio State Buckeyes have every reason to be amped as they host the No. 5-ranked Indiana Hoosiers this weekend. But as two-score favorites, it's hard to feel like they have as much on the line.

However, Aaron Taylor of CBS Sports doesn't see an Ohio State win. While our staff sees a comfortable victory for the Buckeyes in Columbus, Taylor has given the home team some reason for motivation.

Both teams seem poised to make a run for the College Football Playoff. This weekend's matchup is crucial for both as they aim to solidify their playoff aspirations with a victory.

Indiana has demonstrated itself as one of the top teams in the nation this season. While they remain undefeated, they have yet to face any opponents considered serious contenders. Nevertheless, here's Taylor's prediction.

“I believe their front seven will give Ohio State’s offensive line all they want… I think Indiana wins this game. This moment’s not gonna be too big for em.”

Now, going up against Ohio State presents the ultimate challenge for the Hoosiers. They are not an easy team to defeat; their strong defense and explosive offense can make significant plays. For Ohio State to emerge victorious, they will need to perform at their highest level.

However, Ohio State holds the No. 2 ranking for a reason. With an exceptionally talented roster, they were early favorites to clinch the national title, thanks to their depth and skill.

Ryan Day and his team have been playing exceptionally well recently. On paper, they should secure the win this week.

Being viewed as the underdog can serve as a powerful motivator, providing extra incentive to perform.

Watching how both teams kickoff the game this week will be fascinating. The Buckeyes must start strong and apply pressure on Indiana right from the opening whistle.

Ultimately, fans should prepare for what promises to be an exciting and intense game. Ohio State possesses the talent to win, but they must demonstrate once more why they are considered a contender for the national championship.
