Former Georgia Bulldogs star and Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers has made the transition to the NFL look way too easy.

He is currently leading all NFL tight ends in receptions with 52 to go along with his 522 yards and one touchdown through seven games.

The Raiders (2-6) are not a very good team and lost their most recent matchup to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, but Bowers remains a consistent bright spot and caught all five of his targets for 58 yards.

After the game, he was asked what his "key" to success is and he had the perfect response.

It's worth noting that Bowers is not a man of many words, so when he speaks it's always going to be a solid answer.

"I just go out there and do my job and sometimes the ball comes to me and I just catch it and run," Bowers said with a smile on his face.

Bowers' early success has also caught the respect of Chiefs veteran tight end Travis Kelce, who gave him some words of encouragement and asked for a picture and a jersey swap after the game.

"Happy as hell for you," Kelce said. "Keep doing your thing. I’m gonna shoot my jersey to your locker.”

At this rate, Bowers is on tap for 1187 receiving yards in his first year.

And if he reaches that number, then he will shatter Mike Ditka's 1961 rookie tight end record for receiving yards (1,076).

Georgia fans can catch Bowers in NFL action when the Raiders face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9.
