Kirby Smart's No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs are in a good spot to make the College Football Playoffs heading into Week 10, but the season is still far from over and anything can happen.

The Bulldogs are in Jacksonville this week to take on the Florida Gators for their annual World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. A win is necessary if they want to stay locked into the playoffs.

But who exactly should Georiga fans root for and against heading into Week 10 action of college football? Here are the top matchups from this weekend that Georgia fans should keep their eye on as the Dawgs look to push their way into the first-ever 12-Team College Football Playoff field.

No. 4 Ohio State vs No. 3 Penn State

Rooting Interest: Nittany Lions ruin Ryan Day's day

This is the marque matchup of the week and where College Gameday will be parked on Saturday morning. The Nittany Lions are undefeated at 7-0 but a loss could be on the way, especially with their starting quarterback Drew Allar possibly sitting out with a left knee injury.

If Penn State loses, it won't ruin their CFB playoff chances but it could push them further down in the rankings, which means one less worry for Georgia. However, if Ohio State ends up losing, then their playoff hopes could be over. If the Buckeyes win, there is a chance the Buckeyes could jump over Georgia in the rankings with the win over PSU — even if they don't deserve it.

No. 7 Tennessee vs Kentucky

Rooting Interest: Kentucky pulls off the upset and makes Georgia look good

Georgia is always looking for Tennessee to lose but Kentucky pulling off this upset would mean more.

The Bulldogs were able to walk away with a 13-12 win over the Wildcats earlier this season on the road. That means Kentucky will make the Dawgs look even more legit if they can beat the Vols. It also makes Tennessee's playoff chances much slimmer.

It certainly helps the Wildcats out that the game is in Lexington and home to one of the toughest college football atmospheres.

No. 10 Texas A&M vs South Carolina

Rooting Interest: Gamecocks cook at home and Aggies lose No. 1 spot in SEC

Texas A&M sits at No. 1 in the SEC, so a conference loss helps Georgia take over the top spot and puts them one step further away from Texas.

South Carolina is 4-3 but don't sleep on the Gamecocks considering they have one of the best defensive lines in the country. They were able to keep up with Alabama a lot better than Georgia was, barely losing 27-25. They also blew out Oklahoma and nearly beat LSU.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M almost let Bowling Green beat them this year.
