The LSU Tigers and Ole Miss Rebels have two of the better quarterbacks not just in the conference, but in the nation as well. Garrett Nussmeier and Jaxson Dart have been tearing defenses apart this season down the field and leading their teams to near-perfect records.

Saturday night's game is going to be one of the best in the country in week seven and it could play a major factor in both who makes the SEC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff.

In his weekly press conference, Tigers head coach Brian Kelly was asked about any similarities he saw in the games of his quarterback Nussmeier and Ole Miss' quarterback Dart.

"Well, certainly you know both these players are incredible competitors. When you start to separate the really elite players across the country, their game rises when it's called upon. They play their best when their best is needed, I guess is what I'm saying. And both of these players, regardless of arm strength or 40 time, both of them are born to be quarterbacks. They have skill sets that allow them to run the offense that they're directing. But I think clearly the trait that they both bring incredible competitors, and that's why both these teams have a chance, from an offensive perspective, of being in every game because they have these quarterbacks running their offense."

The one area that Kelly focused on with both players is that competitive nature. Nussmeier had that on full display against South Carolina when he led a 17-point comeback victory on the road in Columbia. Dart has also sown a level of toughness for the Rebels.

The game itself is set to be a classic in Death Valley. Get your popcorn ready.
